Transit on a Saturday - Saturday 1st August

We flew from Oahu to Maui today. The flight itself is 45 minutes but the trvel time to the airport and getting through security took the best part of 2 hours.
Local avoid traveling on weekends like the plague, understandably.
There is little to share, pictorially, other than the shot taken by Greg on the way to the airport. 

This pickup had a full lounge suite in the back 

and two guys playing noughts and crosses on the velvet cloth end of a chair, 

whilst making sure nothing flew off the back.

They must have been cheaper than a length of rope, is all we could think.

  

Today the Jeep joke(s) stop

We now have an uber luxo, compared to the pov-pack Jeep, Dodge Journey.

Interestingly, cars here still don't have bluetooth as standard,

 BUT they do have CD players.
