Yep, we rented a Jeep!
What a marshmallow! ..... the car, that is
We went to the Oahu version of our larger DFO's, in Waikele, but with higher end stores. With our dollar "going through the floor" there is not much to save.
Here is one of the highlights of that trip.
One of the more fun thing we did that day was to go to a sushi train.
Greg had never been to one so we found Genki Sushi in Kapahulu and had a great night.
Three happy sushi train-ers, especially the top one
with her wee bottle of cold nihonshu.
Boys did a few Kirin Ichiban.
The aftermath.
Not quite Tokyo quality, and not even Australian quality, sushi but the American have a way of putting their own twist on things.
The actual outcome can be less than desired outcome.
After dinner we crossed the road and went to Safeway to do a little shopping.
Above are four fine examples of just how much they love their
sugar and chocolate overload.
I'm not saying that too much chocolate is bad,
I'm just saying that this lot take it to a new level of "toooooo much".
